NEW ULM — New Ulm struggled to get stress on offense throughout a nonconference women soccer recreation in opposition to Mankato West on Thursday, falling 1-0 to the Scarlets.

The lone purpose of the sport was scored within the 57th minute of play by West’s Aubrey Makela, assisted by Sydney Shain.
