A crowd of theatre fans dedicatedly watching performances for a complete evening. Such a scene was witnessed on the eighth version of the Pune Natyasattak Rajani competition, held on January 25, 8.30pm onwards to January 26, 8.15am, on the metropolis’s Balgandharva Rangmandir.The fest that started with a dance exploration, And So We Dance, was adopted by performs like Baaghi Albele, directed by Atul Kumar, and Afara Tafari, directed by Rishi Manohar and written by Gaurav Barve.As daybreak started to interrupt on January 26, Vaibhav Joshi, Ashish Mujumdar, Dattaprasad Ranade, amongst different artistes offered Sobaticha Karar, that includes soulful Marathi ghazals and poetry. Actor Sandeep Pathak carried out a stand-up comedy act Hastil Tyache Daat Distil, adopted by Tanmay Deochakke’s musical program Tanmay in Harmony. A present exploring the great thing about Urdu literature Ghazal Garage Mehfil was offered by Devendra Bhome, Jaydeep Vaidya, and Nagesh Adgaonkar.“I was happy to see youngsters in the crowd, who stayed till the last show. People loved that there was a variety of shows and performances right from plays to stand-ups and purely instrumental acts and poetry. It was a bouquet of art forms and there was something for everyone,” stated Kushal Khot, organiser, Pune Natyasattak Rajani competition.
