Bhubaneswar: KIIT-DU has been awarded FICCI India Sports Award by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in recognition of the college’s excellent contribution to the sphere of sports activities.

Director General of KIIT Sports Dr Gaganendu Dash obtained the award in New Delhi on November 26.

Founder of KIIT and KISS Dr Achyuta Samanta in his congratulatory message mentioned the award will proceed to encourage KIIT to contribute extra to the event of sports activities in India. KIIT has been selling sports activities and athletes for over 20 years. “From the latest and greatest sports infrastructure to creating Olympians, KIIT has made a name for itself around the sporting world,” he mentioned.

FICCI has been presenting this award for the final 10 years to the most effective achievers and numerous stakeholders within the subject of sports activities.

The FICCI award comes shut on the heels of Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar 2022 below the class of ‘Encouragement to sports through Corporate Social Responsibility’ conferred on KIIT. The announcement was made not too long ago by the Centre whereas declaring the recipients of the National Sports Awards 2022.
