Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 is having a strong run on the field workplace regardless of dealing with robust competitors from Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2. Taran Adarsh talked about is his tweet, the film had a “super-solid Monday” and it earned at over Rs 12 crore. Interestingly, OMG 2 earned extra on second Monday of its launch than the opening day. The film earned at over Rs 10 crore on Friday. The film options Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi within the lead roles.

OMG 2 opened to combined evaluations from movie critics. In his evaluation for NDTV, movie critic Saibal Chatterjee gave the movie 2 stars out of 5 and he wrote, “God’s messenger in OMG is embodied by a flamboyant Akshay Kumar. The star’s presence in the film is understandable. It enhances the box-office potential of the venture. But why Kanti Sharan Mudgal would need divine intervention to sort out his and his son’s everyday problems in the real world is never clearly and convincingly established.”

Directed by Amit Rai, it’s the sequel to Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal’s 2012 movie OMG – Oh My God. The first installment offered the story of Kanji Lalji Mehta (performed by Paresh Rawal), who recordsdata a case towards God for the destruction of his store in an earthquake.
