Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi’s OMG 2 has “found whole-hearted acceptance”. According to commerce analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie has collected Rs 85.05 crore on the Indian field workplace. Gadar 2 and OMG 2 launched in theatres on August 11. 

Gadar 2 is the sequel to the 2001-release Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. In the movie, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel reprise their roles as Tara Singh and Sakeena. Gadar 2, directed by Anil Sharma, additionally stars Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur, Manish Wadhwa, and Gaurav Chopra.
