In the clip, shared on Instagram, legendary singer Asha Bhosle may be seen grooving to Koi Sehri Babu Dil Lehri Babu and welcoming Mumtaz to hitch her. Soon, Mumtaz takes centre stage and dances heartily to the enduring observe from her movie Loafer. Even in 1973, when the movie was launched, Asha Bhosle’s mesmerising vocals and Mumtaz’s dance strikes had been extremely acknowledged by Bollywood lovers.

Well, Mumtaz herself had posted an image of each of them with the caption, “Celebrating Diwali with Asha Bhosle Ji.” In the Instagram add, Asha Bhosle is seen wearing a white saree whereas Mumtaz, standing behind, is sporting a black ethnic ensemble. The two stars are seen sharing a hug.
The veteran actress had shared one other snapshot with the achieved singer. They are seen sitting comfortably on a settee and posing for the digicam. The caption of the image learn, “Asha Bhosle Ji with Mumtaz.”
In recognition of her exceptional contributions to Indian cinema, Mumtaz was honoured with the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997 in the course of the forty second Filmfare Awards.
