THE JEROME BETTIS BUS STOPS HERE FOUNDATION TEAMING UP WITH THE EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP AND COMPUTER REACH TO HOST A TECHNOLOGY DRIVE, COLLECTING UNWANTED LAPTOPS AND COMPUTERS. BRITTANY: THE GOAL IS TO HELP 36,000 STUDENTS ACROSS SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA WHO HAVE STRUGGLED TO COMPLETE SCHOOL WORK BECAUSE OF A LACK TECHNOLOGY AT HOME, ESPECIALLY NOW AS MANY DISTRICTS MOVE TOWARD REMOTE LEARNING. >> IT IS ALWAYS BEEN A MISSION OF JEROME TO MAKE SURE KIDS HAVE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY TO THRIVE IN TODAY’S SOCIETY. DURING THESE CHALLENGING TIMES, THERE WERE MANY KIDS UNABLE TO COMPLETE THEIR SCHOOLWORK BECAUSE THEY DID NOT HAVE ACCESS TO TECHNOLOGY. THIS BROKE OUR HEARTS. Their goal is to help the 36,000 students across southwestern Pennsylvania who struggle to complete school work due to lack of technology at home.
