Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas advised US secretary of state Antony Blinken that Palestine rejects the “forced displacement” of Palestinians in Gaza and that such an occasion would represent a “second nakba”. Nakba, an Arabic phrase for disaster, refers back to the mass displacement of Palestinians within the 1948 struggle surrounding Israel’s creation. The president advised Blinken that humanitarian corridors have to be allowed within the blockaded coastal enclave instantly to stop a humanitarian catastrophe, Reuters reported citing the official Palestinian information company.

As the United States assist Israel in its fight against Hamas that launched a large and unprecedented assault on Israel, Blinken met the Palestinian President in Jordan on Friday.

On the seventh day of the continued struggle between Israeli forces and Hamas, Israel referred to as for an evacuation of all civilians in Gaza city indicating that there can be a floor operation quickly. Israel gave the United Nations 24 hours to maneuver its employees from close by areas.

Gaza is residence to tons of of 1000’s of Palestinians. Israel has requested civilians to maneuver from north to south.
