New Delhi:

A Class 10 scholar was burnt alive allegedly by a person who had been harassing his sister in Andhra Pradesh’s Bapatla district.

Amarnath, 15, named three folks together with somebody known as “Venky” whereas he was being taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

The 15-year-old teen was burnt alive after petrol was poured on him, his household alleged.

He died on the hospital.

Amarnath’s household alleged that Venkateswar, a 21-year-old man, had been harassing his sister and he had confronted Venkateswar over it.

Bapatla police officer Vakul Jindal advised NDTV a homicide case has been filed. Another case underneath the stringent POCSO Act has additionally been filed because the murdered scholar’s sister, who was allegedly harassed by Venkateswar, is a minor.

Mr Jindal mentioned they’re questioning the accused.
