US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg who has been regarded as an iconic champion of women’s rights and a history-making jurist, passed away on September 18 at the age of 87 due to health complications at her home in Washington DC. Popularly known as the Notorious RBG, Ginsburg in recent years, served as the most senior member of the court liberal wing and is only the second woman to sit on the United States of America’s highest court.
