Such technology has been around but has failed to take hold. Now Qualcomm is out to prove the effectiveness of its version of the technology called Cellular Vehicle to Everything, or C-V2X.
The San Diego Union-Tribune’s technology reporter Mike Freeman joins Midday Edition on Monday to discuss the pilot project.
