Mental Health Week is on till October 15, with occasions being held proper throughout the State to lift consciousness. 

This 12 months’s theme of ‘Awareness, Belonging, Connection’ highlights key features which are wanted to spice up psychological well being and wellbeing and construct resilience.

Premier and Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing, Jeremy Rockliff, stated having conversations about psychological well being can scale back stigma and encourage our communities to worth psychological well being and wellbeing as a lot as bodily well being.

“The Tasmanian Liberal Government is committed to improving mental health and wellbeing outcomes for all Tasmanians. 

“Our Government is providing more services and supports than ever before through our overarching mental health plan for Tasmania, Rethink 2020, and the Tasmanian Mental Health Reform Program.

“I encourage all Tasmanians to get involved in this year’s Mental Health Week.”
