RCB vs MI Highlights, IPL 2021: Harshal Patel hat-trick, Chahal and Maxwell help RCB beat Mumbai Indians by 54 runs- In a rather one-sided match, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) beat Mumbai Indians by 54 runs to get back to winning ways. Glenn Maxwell and Virat Kohli were the architects with half-centuries and then Harshal Patel’s hat-trick (4/17) and Yuzvendra Chahal’s 3/11 handed RCB a boost in the playoff race.
In a crunch match with both sides desperate to go back to winning ways, Virat Kohli shined with the bat. His 42nd half-century of IPL and followed by some excellent hitting from Glenn Maxwell helped Royal Challengers Bangalore set 166 target for Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians. Earlier, Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first at the Dubai International Stadium.
RCB vs MI Highlights, IPL 2021: Virat Kohli looked sharp throughout his innings and was determined to get some good scores under his belt. Even though Devdutt Padikkal fell early, he went on to stitch together a 50-run stand with KS Bharat and then with Glenn Maxwell. The Australian too got his fifty after Virat Kohli became the first Indian to score 10,000 T20 runs.
However, some excellent death overs bowling from Trent Boult, Adam Milne and Jasprit Bumrah restricted RCB to 165/6.
