CLEVELAND, Ohio – The state of Ohio has issued a new order about participatory sports and the safeguards that should be in place to combat the spread of coronavirus.
The order was signed by the state’s Interim Health Director Lance D. Himes. He writes in the order that all sports are permitted to engage in competition; and that social distancing will be required. Also, the order places regulations on how many people can compete in various types of sports, and prohibits unnecessary gatherings before, during or after events.
