In “Even if reluctantly in some cases, the Pac-12 closes ranks on the decision to postpone fall sports” (Aug. 11), UCLA athletic director Martin Jarmond was quoted as tweeting, “No game is worth jeopardizing the health of even one person.” If that’s true, Jarmond and all other Pac-12 athletic directors should resign immediately, and all Pac-12 athletic departments dismantled.
