Bhubaneswar: Police have arrested as many as 5 individuals for allegedly dishonest within the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) utilizing ‘Bluetooth Chappal’ in Ajmer space.

The accused had been discovered carrying chappals with Bluetooth units inside the only real, stated Jagdish Chandra Sharma, Ajmer SP.

According to experiences, police busted the complete racket working behind the offence after a candidate was caught resorting to malpractice in Ajmer. Similar chappals with Bluetooth units had been later present in Bikaner and Sikar.

“The chappal contains a mobile phone inside it and a Bluetooth device. A device was fitted inside the candidate’s ear while someone from outside the examination centre was helping the accused in writing answers,” a police official stated.

Further probe by police was underway to determine the involvement of others within the racket. As per some experiences, the chappals had been offered to the candidates at a value of Rs 2 lakh every.

Following the incident, carrying of footwears contained in the examination centres has been prohibited.

Mobile web was suspended in a number of districts of Rajasthan in the present day for 12 hours in a bid to stop malpractice throughout the examination.
