Now, during an interview with a channel, a person who accompanied Rhea to the morgue said that the actress said ‘Sorry Babu’ after seeing SSR’s body. The individual named Surjeet Singh Rathore added that Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty and her mother also wanted to see the mortal remains. However, he revealed that the Mumbai Police didn’t allow them.

He further said that when he removed the cover from SSR’s face, Rhea kept her hand on the late actor’s chest and said ‘Sorry, babu’. The person felt that why Rhea was saying sorry now and he took her outside as she started crying.

Meanwhile, CBI has filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, her family and others in the case. The CBI team will be led by CBI’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Nupur Prasad.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra apartment on June 14. Initially, the Mumbai Police was investigating the case.
