It has been more than a month now that Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left the earth for his heavenly abode. While his tragic demise continues to haunt his fans and loved ones, according to the reports, Mumbai police are only a few weeks away from wrapping up the death case of Sushant.

To this, recently Sushant’s upcoming rom-com director Rumi Jaffery was too summoned to the Bandra police station to record his official statement. Now, reportedly, the filmmaker has revealed several information about the late actor and his relationship with his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty during the investigation.

According to an entertainment portal, Rumi told the officials that both Sushant and Rhea were ‘made for each other’. Infact, Rhea was always with Sushant to support him and continued to take care of him during his alleged depression. The director has also shared the details of his last chat with the late actor where he had tried to know the actor’s state of mind. Alongside, reportedly, the filmmaker also told the police about his upcoming film starring Sushant and Rhea in the leads and how excited he was to begin its shooting by May 2020 in London, which later got delayed due to the ongoing pandemic.

So far, police has grilled several people including Bollywood bigwigs like Aditya Chopra, Shekhar Kapur and Sanjay Leela Bhansali among others in connection with the death case.

Meanwhile, Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has also urged the Home Affrairs minister, Amit Shah for the CBI probe as she wants to understand what pressure prompted the 34-year old star to take such a drastic step. To this, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has acknowledged a letter regarding the CBI inquiry.
