The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday rejected Rhea Chakraborty‘s bail plea and sent her to judicial custody until September 22. Now, according to the latest update on the same, the actress will be sent to Byculla jail tomorrow. Reportedly, she will be spending the night in Narcotics Control Bureau custody.

The court rejected the bail stating that it cannot grant bail for cognizable offences. Rhea’s lawyer stated that they will be approaching the sessions court for the bail.

Meanwhile, in its remand application of Rhea, NCB stated that she is an active member of a “drug syndicate” and used to manage finance for drug procurement along with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Reportedly, the ‘Jalebi’ actress revealed about her involvement in the procurement of drugs, financial transactions and also her instructions to SSR’s staff member Dipesh Sawant, his house manager Samuel Miranda and her brother Showik Chakraborty.

The actress who is the prime accused in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case was arrested by NCB after three days of questioning in connection to the alleged link to drug suppliers.
