Russian actress Yulia Peresild and Russian producer-director Klim Shipenko who had gone up in space with Russian cosmonaut Oleg Novitskiy of Roscosmos returned to Earth on October 17 in Kazakhstan.
The two Russian filmmakers returned to Earth after 12 days in space. Peresild and Klimenko were to film segments of a new Russian movie titled Challenge, in which a surgeon played by Peresild rushes to the space station to save a crew member who suffers a heart condition.
The trio departed the International Space Station in their Soyuz MS-18 spacecraft.
Oleg Novitsky returned to Earth with the Russian film crew, after spending 191 days up in space on his 3rd mission that spanned over 3,000 orbits of Earth. He completed three spacewalk and has logged in a total of 531 days in space on three flights.
