: Outsourcing clerks deployed on the Barnala DC workplace staged a protest on Monday exterior the residence of sports activities minister and native MLA Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer over becoming a member of of latest clerks.

They are opposing the becoming a member of of 24 new common clerks fearing that they are going to be changed.

They are demanding that the federal government ought to deploy new clerks at different places of work or departments and in addition regularise them.

Preeti Garg, a clerk, stated they’ve been working on the Barnala DC workplace for the final 13 years.

“We are a total of 36 employees, including 24 clerks. We were hoping that the new government will regularise us, but seems they have prepared to fire us. As many as 24 regular clerks are going to join duties in the upcoming days,” stated Garg.
