Canberra’s new ice sports activities facility is one step nearer, following the ACT Government’s approval of a proposal from the builders.
The new facility set to be constructed on Rowland Rees Crescent in Greenway will embrace two worldwide normal ice rinks and curling lanes.
Earlier this yr builders Cruachan Investments and Pelligra Holdings put ahead detailed proposals to design, assemble, personal and preserve the brand new facility.
“We’re pleased the ACT Government has supported our detailed proposal and look forward to working with the Government and ice sports on this project,” Stephen Campbell, Director of Cranachan Investments said.
“The proposed facility will provide the ACT with world class infrastructure to grow ice sports at all levels.”
