The Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission’s third annual Name-a-Snowplow contest has begun and can run by way of Nov. 15.
Commission officers will choose 30 names for a public vote. The voting interval runs Nov. 20 to Dec. 6.
The eight snowplow names receiving essentially the most votes will likely be introduced because the winners on Dec. 11. Each winner will obtain a $100 reward card, courtesy of the Ohio Turnpike.
Winning names from the earlier contests will not be eligible.
Eight distinctive names will likely be assigned to eight snowplow vans in service on the eight upkeep buildings positioned alongside the 241-mile Ohio Turnpike within the cities of Canfield, Pioneer, Swanton, Elmore, Castalia, Amherst, Richfield and Windham.
