Former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Friday claimed that “toxic substances” are being mixed in Nitish Kumar’s food. He claimed that a conspiracy is being hatched to remove Kumar as the CM, and hence, “he’s being intoxicated”. “The method he has been talking just lately proves it,” Manjhi added.

Manjhi further citied another example from a tribute meeting attended by the Bihar CM. “…This is why flowers are being offered to Ashok Chaudhary instead of Mahavir Chaudhary,” he added.

Kumar’s cupboard colleagues had been seen tugging at his kurta, urging him to relax and take his seat, although the septuagenarian didn’t relent till he had given Manjhi a mouthful.

As Manjhi spoke, he was flanked on either side by BJP MLAs, who expressed solidarity with the HAM chief and accused Kumar of getting “insulted a Dalit”.
