Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced the appointment of two new members of the Michigan Health Information Technology Commission, as well as the reappointment of one current member, Friday, Sept. 24, 2021.
Camille P. Walker Banks, of Southfield, is one of the new appointees. Banks is the executive director of NPower Michigan. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Urban Planning from Wayne State University.
Banks will serve a term beginning Sept. 24, 2021, and ending Aug. 3, 2025.
According to the State of Michigan, the Michigan Health Information Technology (HIT) Commission’s mission is “to facilitate and promote the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of an interoperable health care information infrastructure in Michigan.”
