Week three of the high school football season had plenty of good games and big performances. It’s Monday, so let’s take a look back at the weeks best plays in the Sports Fource Rewind.
We start in Sioux City. East taking on West. Taejon Jones weaves his way through the defense on his way to a 25 yard TD. The Black Raiders win big, 65 to 14.
The game of the week was in Sergeant Bluff. SBL hosting BHRV. Kaden Helt finds room up the middle and he’s gone. He finished the game with 275 yards. The Warriors score with three second left to win, 42-35.
Storm Lake with a big win at Bishop Heelan. David Soto throws it up to Jailen Hansen who makes the catch and takes it all the way for the score. The Tornadoes win 34-24.
To Nebraska, top ranked Wayne stays unbeaten. Victor Kniesche gets a sack in the endzone. That’s a safety. Wayne beats Columbus Lakeview 14-11.
Wakefield with another strong performace. Quarterback Blake Brown calls his own number on the read option. That was a good choice as he gets to the outside and beats everyone to the endzone. Wakefield tops Stanton 50-14.
West Lyon taking on MOC-Floyd Valley. Tanner Severson fields the punt, finds a seam, breaks a tackle and is gone. That’s 59 yard punt return touchdown. West Lyon wins 35-0.
In South Dakota, Dakota Valley hosting Milbank. The first offensive play for DV, Kobey June goes up the middle, sheds a tackles and takes it all the way for the score. The Panthers win, 48-14.
