New Delhi [India], May 20 (ANI): Sarpal Singh, veteran subject hockey participant and celebrated coach, acquired the distinguished Dronacharya Award from Anurag Thakur, Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Information and Broadcasting.
The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYAS) conferred Sarpal Singh with the Dronacharya Award within the Lifetime Category in 2021 for his lifelong contribution to subject hockey.

Founding Director of RoundGlass Sports, Sarpal Singh has represented Punjab and India in varied hockey tournaments in his profession and later devoted himself to mentoring gamers and serving to determine and nurture expertise, together with worldwide hockey gamers and Olympians from India. He has coached the Northern Railways groups, which received the Nehru Gold Cup, Bombay Gold Cup and Gwalior Gold Cup.
