Du Plessis collects 2 runs and gets off strike with a single. Mo Ali pulls a short ball between fine leg and midwicket for four. CSK 83/1 in 11 Overs.

Gaikwad is in a hurry. Skips down the track and hits Abhishek down the ground for four. 7 from that over. CSK 75/0 in 10 Overs.

Rashid Khan is back. Gaikwad has caressed a drive through cover for four. Next ball, he hits one straight back to Rashid, the ball hits his right hand and the batsmen take a single. Eight from the over. CSK 68/0 in 9 Overs.

Left-arm spinner Abhishek Sharma into the attack. Three dots. Good over that. Just two singles off it. CSK 60/0 in 8 Overs.

Sid Kaul into the attack. Two dots later, Gaikwad takes a single. Kaul to du Plessis and the latter brings up the 50-run stand with a majestic six down the ground! Shot – du Plessis ends the over with a cracking boundary through deep extra. CSK 58/0 in 7 Overs.

Last over of the powerplay. Rashid into the attack and Gaikwad greets him with a boundary. He steps down the pitch next ball and hits one over the bowler’s head for six. He is given out lbw next ball! But Gaikwad reviews. Replays show the ball had brushed the glove and Gaikwad survives! 11 off the over. CSK 47/0 at the end of the Powerplay.

Holder replaces Sandeep. Du Plessis doesn’t mind the change as he meets a half-volley with a straight bat to pick up four runs down the ground. Two balls later, Faf skips down the track and hits one over the bowler’s head for four more. CSK cruising. 9 from the over. CSK 36/0 in 5 Overs.

The slow outfield is troubling the CSK batters. However, Gaikwad takes it out of the equation as he bludgeons a short-of-a-length delivery from Bhuvneshwar into the stands for a SIX. Faf joins the party as well! Over deep midwicket he goes… CSK 27/0 in 4 Overs.

Gaikwad makes room and goes over mid-off for four. Plays that shot well, does Gaikwad. Saha standing up to the stumps for Sandeep. Du Plessis is struggling to find the gaps as Sandeep continues to craftily alter his pace on each delivery. CSK 12/0 in 3 Overs.

Could’ve been a boundary but Bhuvi at third man slides and saves 3. A couple of dots now. Shot. Gaikwad cuts and collects three off the last ball. CSK 5/0 in 1 Over.

Brilliant from CSK. After choosing to bowl first, they have restricted SRH to their lowest total against them in IPL. Hazlewood and Bravo took five wickets between them as SRH’s innings never quite took flight. Back with the chase shortly.

Chahar to bowl the final over. Only a single off the first ball. Rashid! Scoops one over short fine leg for four, much-needed runs. Just a single next ball. Bhuvneshwar takes a single. A single to end the over. Review for a lbw against Rashid off the last ball! Replays confirm there was a leading edge towards point. Rashid survives and SRH will add 1 to their total.

Thakur to bowl out. Holder gets a couple. GONE! Brilliantly taken by Chahar at deep point as Holder holes out. Rashid gets one away for four. Thakur bowls a wide next ball. Rashid takes a risky double off the next delivery. A brace to end the over. 11 off that over. SRH 126/7 in 19 Overs.

Bravo to bowl out. Can SRH get to 130-140? This is a slow, slow wicket. Chasing will not be easy if SRH bowl well. Still just singles for SRH batters, Bravo has been brilliant tonight. Just four singles. 4-0-17-2. SRH 115/6 in 18 Overs.

Hazlewood to bowl out. Samad gets a single first ball. Abhishek, you beauty! Smacks one of the premier international quicks for an effortless six. Gone! Hazlewood has his revenge next ball. Abhishek holes out. Holder is the new man. Samad’s the next man to go and Hazlewood has 2! Rashid Khan is the new batter. Josh bowls out – 4-0-24-3 – his best IPL figures. SRH 111/6 in 17 Overs.

Bravo returns for his third. Just five from it. SRH goes past the 100-run mark. SRH 102/4 in 16 Overs.

Hazlewood is back now. Samad greets him with a six over long-on. Nine off the over. Good fightback by these two. SRH 97/4 in 15 Overs.

Thakur returns into the attack. Abhishek and Sama collect a four each. 12 from that over. SRH 88/4 in 14 Overs.

Jadeja back, comes from around the wicket. Saha perishes now! Abdul Samad is the new man in. CSK well and truly on top at the moment. Four singles and a wicket. SRH 76/4 in 13 Overs.

Moeen into the attack.  Tidy start from Ali. Three singles and a barce from it. SRH 72/3 in 12 Overs.

Bravo is back over the wicket. The pressure takes a toll. Priyam Garg departs as MS Dhoni runs and takes a simple chance. Abhishek is the new man in.  SRH 67/3 in 11 Overs.

Jadeja continues. Six from that over. The boundaries have dried up for SRH. SRH 63/2 in 10 Overs.

Shardul is back. Saha gets a couple and it’s 50 up for SRH. Saha has holed out but ..Shardul has overstepped. Free-hit! Gets a couple off the free hit. Can Saha capitalise on the reprieve? Eight off the over. SRH 57/2 in 9 Overs.

Here’s Jadeja with a slip in place. Garg takes a single first ball. Three singles off the first three balls. Tidy start by Jaddu. Four singles from it. SRH 49/2 in 8 Overs.

It’s DJ Bravo time. Saha takes a single first ball. Bravo has got the big fish, traps Williamson in front. That was a full ball and Williamson played down the wrong line. Slip in place. Priyam Garg in next. Dot to end the over. SRH 45/2 in 7 Overs.

Change of ends for Deepak. Also the last over of the powerplay. After two dots, Williamson scoops a slower full ball over MS for four. Chahar resorting to slower ball leg cutters… this is not a 200 wicket. Six off the over. SRH 41/1 in 6 Overs.

A bowling change. Shardul Thakur into the attack. Saha takes a single first ball and gets off strike. Two dots to Williamson. Williamson takes off for a quick single and makes it safely in the end. Shot. Saha has lofted that over the bowler’s head for four. SRH 35/1 in 5 Overs.

Hazlewood to Roy, and 4 leg byes to SRH. The ball is keeping low. Gone! Roy is caught behind! Bottom edge to the keeper. The ball once again keeping low.  Williamson is in at No. 3. Fine over. Williamson is off the mark with a single. Nearly another one but the ball bisects the gap between keeper and the slip and runs away for four. Williamson will take that. SRH 29/1 in 4 Overs.

The ball is already staying a tad low. Chahar starts with a dot. Next ball, Saha has deposited one over deep midwicket for six. That one came in from outside off and Saha simply swivelled and slogged it. Saha now getting stuck into Chahar – another six, this time a lofted off-drive for a maximum. He takes a single next ball. 14 off the over. SRH 19/0 in 3 Overs.

Hazlewood to share the new ball. Saha looks to cut but misses. Slip in place. Very good start from Josh – three dots. Make that four in four. Saha finally gets off strike courtesy a single off an inside edge.  Just one off the over. SRH 5/0 in 2 Overs.

Wriddhiman Saha and Jason Roy to open the innings for SRH. Deepak Chahar with the new ball. Roy to take strike. A slip in place. Starts with a dot. Roy takes a single off an inside edge. Saha gets off the mark with a couple. Hazlewood runs in from third man to keep it down to two. Dot to end the over. SRH 4/0 in 1 Over.
