Asked about STLFC’s decision to shut down operations at the end of the season, Blackwood said he and his teammates are focused on finishing the season strong.

“At this point, we’re all trying to focus from day to day,” he said. “All you can do as a player is try to stay focused on doing what needs to be done that day. By focusing on finishing the season as strong as I can for myself and my teammates, I’m confident that in the long run things will fall into place and the right opportunity will come up for me.”
