Delhi earthquake: The tremors had been felt in all of NCR

New Delhi:

Strong tremors had been felt in Delhi round 2 am after a 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck in Nepal. 

Severe tremors that lasted for practically 10 seconds had been reported from neighbouring Noida and Gurugram as effectively.

The depth of the earthquake was about 10 km, in response to the National Center for Seismology.

This is the second earthquake to hit Nepal in round 5 hours. The final earthquake, of magnitude 4.9, was reported in Nepal at 8:52 pm on Wednesday.

The tremors felt in Delhi had been so robust, that many stepped out of their homes in the midst of the night time for security.

Within a half an hour of the quake, #earthquake began trending on Twitter with greater than 20,000 tweets. Some tweeted to say they’ve by no means felt this robust an earthquake.
