During her report at the meeting of the Marshall School Board on Tuesday, August 25, Superintendent Dr. Carol Maher touched on a plan for activities and sports for the North Central Missouri Conference schools.
Dr. Maher said administrators, including superintendents and athletic directors, have been working on plans during weekly meetings for the last three to four months.
Dr. Maher said the conference expects everybody in attendance to wear a face covering. She also said there won’t be any leaving and reentry into the games. She also said the superintendents are going to determine the level or the color of the week on Mondays, and that will be in effect for all sports and activities through the following Monday, unless there is an emergency.
In other news from the meeting, the board approved a bid from George’s Heating & Cooling of $19,297 to replace the HVAC system on the Industrial Arts building.
