After over five hours of investigation, the CBI team left Sushant’s residence in Mumbai after recreating the crime scene along with forensic experts and eye-witnesses.
Two key witnesses in the death case â Sushant’s cook and his friend Siddharth Pithani were also taken to the actor’s Bandra residence where he was mysteriously found dead on June 14.

Sushant’s neighbor speaks to RepublicTv, says no party on June 13
Sushant’s neighbour on Saturday spoke to RepublicTv revealing that there was no party on the night of June 13, adding that the lights were off by 10.30 pm that day. She, however, stated that something was amiss that night since Sushant would often stay awake till late almost till 4am but lights were switched off really early that day.

Mumbai Police found at Sushant’s house minutes before CBI team arrives
Even as the investigation by Mumbai Police is under the scanner of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) that is probing Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, state cops were seen at late actor’s building on Saturday.
Soon after sources on Saturday reported that Mumbai Police was quizzed about the autopsy report, cops were seen speaking to watchman of Sushant Singh Rajput’s building minutes before the CBI team reached there. When asked by Republic TV about their visit, Mumbai cop said that they were there to ‘drink water.’

A team of the CBI had reached Cooper Hospital to examine the autopsy report of the late actor. According to the CBI, the autopsy report was allegedly ‘botched’ up and the report was ‘misleading’. The CBI has raised suspicions on why vital details like the time of death have been skipped in the report. Sources suggest doctors failed to give ‘satisfactory answers.’

June 14 locksmith makes sensational revelation to Republic TV
In yet another revelation in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the locksmith, who was called on June 14 to break the lock of late Bollywood actor’s room has told Republic TV that he was not allowed to enter the room. Narrating the incidents of June 14, the locksmith said that he was called by Siddharth Pithani but was not informed about the death of Sushant. When he broke the lock, the locksmith said that ‘3-4 people’ at his home told him to leave and did not allow him to see inside the room. The locksmith said that it was only after an hour when he received a call from Mumbai Police that he came to know that it was Sushant Singh Rajput’s home and that the actor has died.

5-member AIIMS team to re-examine Sushant’s autopsy files
As CBI begins probe in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, a five-member medical board of forensic experts has been formed by the AIIMS to look into the autopsy files related to the late actor. This comes after CBI approached the hospital for assistance.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) approached the forensic department of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Friday for its medico-legal opinion in the case. In a letter to the premier medical institute, the central probe agency said it will provide the team of forensic experts with the necessary medical papers, post-mortem reports, videographs and viscera reports at the earliest.
“It is in connection with the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput death case, a medical board of doctors of AIIMS, New Delhi is required to be constituted for providing expert medical opinion in the case. Necessary medical papers, post-mortem reports, viscera reports will be provided at earliest. It is therefore requested that a medical board of doctors at AIIMS, New Delhi may please be constituted and deputed for visiting the place of occurrence at Mumbai at earliest,” the CBI said in its letter.

CBI issues first statement post SC verdict
Hours after the Supreme Court gave its nod to the CBI to probe the mysterious death case of Sushant Singh Rajput, the independent investigating agency has issued its first statement. Refraining from sharing any details, the CBI asserted that the investigation in the death case is continuing. It also affirmed that CBI officials would visit Mumbai later for further investigation.
