SVG College Kickoff: The Return of Live Sports
An SVG College Initiative Virtual Event
presented in association with Canon, Daktronics, Grass Valley, LiveU, and Panasonic
Tuesday, October 13 | 2 p.m. ET
Following a lengthy and dark layoff due to the COVID-19 pandemic, collegiate sports has slowly, but surely, begun to return on campuses across the country.
In this very special SVG College event, SVG College Kickoff: The Return to Live Sports, learn from and network with video directors from across collegiate athletics as they break down the types of content they are creating, how they are doing it safely, and what you can do to prepare if your conference is returning to action very soon or in the coming months.
Join us to participate in this valuable conversation with schools of all sizes who are working under extremely unique circumstances to continue to deliver valuable video content for broadcast and/or the live in-venue videoboard show.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This event will be hosted on a new event platform for us: Shindig. This is the first time we will be using this platform, so we will offer you a quick tutorial on how to get the most out of it. Shindig is designed not only to present speakers and panels but it encourages audience networking.
In addition to standard, text-based chat, you will be able to participate in video chats with other members of the audience in groups ranging from 2-6 people. We hope that, in addition to enjoying the event programming, you will have the opportunity to connect with colleagues in the audience or make new connections with schools of your similar staffing and budget size.
