Wycombe Wanderers are delighted to have launched a new partnership with MJB Entertainment Group, who will work alongside the club to provide first-class entertainment and service at events at Adams Park.
Based locally in Penn, MJB Entertainment Ltd – owned by Bill Blenkarn – are kicking off their involvement with the Chairboys by hosting a Lifestyle Show at the stadium on Bank Holiday Monday (31st August), welcoming around 100 different stallholders to showcase their products and services in the car park.
MJB will also be working on a diverse range of public events at the stadium throughout the year, helping to bring in new revenue streams and welcome new audiences to the home of the Championship football club.
Neil Peters, Wanderers’ Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We have been extremely impressed by the professionalism and enthusiasm of Bill and his team, who share our vision of attracting people from all over the country to Adams Park on non-matchdays for both public and private events.
“We know that Adams Park is a fantastic venue in terms of its locality to major motorways and airports, its large car park and rooms overlooking the pitch and countryside, and we are also excited by developments this summer which will result in major improvements to the wifi and audio-visual equipment in each lounge.
“MJB Entertainment Ltd will help us maximise the potential of the stadium and its car park and generate more revenue opportunities away from football matches. It’s a pleasure to welcome Bill and his team into the club and we look forward to kicking off the partnership with the Lifestyle Show on Monday.”
Bill Blenkarn added: “It’s an exciting time for both ourselves and for Wycombe Wanderers, and we’re really looking forward to planning many spectacular events at Adams Park which will help to get the local entertainment and hospitality industries booming again after the challenges of Covid-19.
“We have used the past few months to develop what we believe is an innovative and prosperous business plan which will bring plenty of benefits, most notably being the development of Adams Park as a fantastic venue for live events of many different kinds.
“The Lifestyle Show will give a sense of what’s to come and it would be great to see as many local people as possible at Adams Park as we give local businesses the chance to promote their offerings and help them get back on their feet after a tough few months.”
