On March 30, a Mannarkkad-based particular courtroom for making an attempt offences underneath the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act will render its choice within the spectacular Madhu lynching case that shook Kerala at first of 2018.

On February 22, 2018, a gang of males are accused of beating to dying Madhu, a younger tribal individual from Attappadi, on the idea of a theft accusation.

According to accounts, the chargesheet names about 16 folks.

The case is being heard by a particular courtroom, and the hearings started in April 2022. The courtroom had positioned tight circumstances on the discharge of 11 accused folks on bail final October.

On that tragic day, Madhu, a tribal lad from the Attappady village of Chindakki close to Mukkali, was apprehended from a cave within the forest and seemingly overwhelmed up by a gang of males on suspicion of supposed theft.

Madhu handed whereas en path to the hospital after being turned over to the police. Internal accidents he had on account of the beating have been the reason for his dying.
