CHARLOTTE — The sport that continues to take over the nation is coming to Camp North End.
Tipsy Pickle, an idea created by Charlotte enterprise veterans and entrepreneurs Mike Salzarulo and Tanner Brooks, will provide six pickleball courts, three bars and Tex-Mex-style eats in a 35,000-square-foot house at 201 Camp Road.
In addition to the 4 indoor and two outside pickleball courts, the leisure vacation spot may have golf simulators, ping pong, pool tables, shuffleboard, cornhole, and darts.
“The popularity of pickleball is growing exponentially and we want to create a place where everyone feels welcome, from the pros to the novices to the sideline heroes just looking to have a good time,” Brooks stated in a information launch.
The huge footprint, together with 25,000 sq. ft of indoor house and 10,000 sq. ft outdoor, contains indoor and outside bars on the principle degree, and a mezzanine degree cocktail lounge plus a number of occasion areas for all ages and events, starting from ten to as many as 1,000+ company.

“Our goal is to create a place where everyone can let loose, unwind and relax. With the array of activities we’re planning and the outstanding food and beverage options, we couldn’t have found a better location than Camp North End,” Salzarulo stated. “Our vision is for people to use this on a weekly or even daily basis and be able to create a different experience every time they come.”
According to Salzarulo and Brooks, customized know-how is being developed to handle the Pickleball leagues, reservations, and different activations.
The duo has tapped chef Chad Newton and You Are Here Hospitality to deal with the culinary aspect and Southwick Architecture + Interiors for design.
The challenge is aiming to open as quickly as summer season 2024.
