Ferrari launched its first first ever V6 Ferrari in India. The Ferrari 296 GTB is a V6 plug-in-hybrid sports car. The nomenclature GTB stands for Gran Turismo Berlinetta. It is powered by 3.0 L twin turbo V6 petrol engine and electric motors. It churns out a combined power of 819 bhp and 740 nm of torque. The ICE produces 654 bhp and the electric motors produce 165 bhp. This works in conjunction with the Ferrari’s 8-speed F1 DCT. It has a top speed of 330 kmph and can go from 0-100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds. It has an EV only range of 25 kms and has an impressive claimed fuel economy of 15.62 kmpl.
Porsche has introduced the 911 GT3 RS in India. It is the lightest 911 ever. It is powered by a 4.0 L flat-six boxer engine that churns out 502 bhp and 470 nm of torque. The engine is mated to a short ratio, 7-speed dual clutch P.D.K gearbox. This features extensive aerodynamics to increase its downforce and reduce drag. It gets this really cool large rear wing which adds to the appeal of the 911 GT3 RS.
Lamborghini India acted rather swiftly to bring the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica to India and Lambo fanboys in the country were delighted. The Huracan Tecnica houses a 5.2 L naturally aspirated V10 engine that churns out 631 bhp and 565 nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. It has a top speed of 325 kmph and can go from 0-100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds.
BMW drives in M4 Competition 50
Mercedes launched its first ever all electric AMG car in India last month. The Mercedes Benz AMG EQS 53 is an all electric high performance luxury car from the company. It has a 107.8 kWh lithium-ion battery which supports up to 200 kW fast charging and offers a range of up to 580 kms. In its best configuration it has a maximum power output of 762 bhp and 1020 nm of torque. It has a top speed of 250 kmph and can go from 0-100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds.
