JUPITER, Fla. (AP) — Town Sports International Holdings Inc. (CLUB) on Friday reported a loss of $136.3 million in its first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Jupiter, Florida-based company said it had a loss of $4.98. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs and non-recurring costs, were $1.25 per share.
The sports club operator posted revenue of $98.1 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Friday, the company’s shares hit 40 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $1.75.
