In recent Chautauqua County Trap League action, Randolph beat Busti, 346-340, and Celoron topped Carroll, 344-342.

Perfect 50s were shot by Randolph’s Denny Gullo, Tim Sickles and John Foster; Busti’s Jason Hurlburt and Craig Broberg; and Celoron’s Dennis Spoon.

Randolph’s Tracie Carlson and Celoron’s Rose Corbran tied for High Lady honors with 48s. Randolph’s James Spruce was High Jr. with a 49 and Carroll’s Harry Eckert was High Sub. Jr. with a 48. Randolph’s Skip Frazier, Busti’s Will Ortman, Celoron’s Tim Young and Carroll’s Jim Nowacki all shared High Veteran honors with 49s. Gullo and Foster were High Sr. Veterans with their 50s while Randolph’s Gary Sickles Sr. and Celoron’s Russ Wingard shared High Super Sr. Veteran honors with 48s.

On the final night of the Warren County Trap League, it was Pine Grove outgunning Sheffield, 345-333; Brokenstraw topping Tidioute, 343-339; Corry downing Sugar Grove II, 339-333; and Sugar Grove I outshooting Kalbfus, 329-323.

Perfect 50s were shot by Pine Grove’s Tim Young and Kevin Sturzenbecker; Brokenstraw’s CJ Jones and Dale Johnson; and Sugar Grove II’s Austin Anderson.

With its win, Pine Grove not only won the second half but clinched the 2020 league championship.

Pine Grove’s Cindy Cable was High Lady with a 48. Corry’s Jaxon Gray was High Jr. with a 48. Pine Grove’s Harry Eckert was High Sub Jr. with a 49. Young and Sturzenbecker were High Veterans with their 50s. Jim Egley and Ken Anderson, both of Tidioute, shot matching 49s for High Sr. Veteran honors. Pine Grove’s Dean Anderson and Brokenstraw’s John McCanna shot matching 49s for High Super Sr. Veteran honors.

Brokenstraw and Corry shot for runnerup this past Wednesday at Kalbfus.
