A ferry capsized within the Philippines on Thursday, killing at the least 26 individuals, after excessive winds from Typhoon Doksuri brought about passengers to hurry to at least one aspect. The boat overturned lower than 50 metres from the shore after leaving a wharf in Laguna de Bay in Rizal province, east of Manila. Footage printed by the Philippine coastguard confirmed individuals onboard vessels approaching the overturned boat. It was unclear how many individuals had been onboard.
