Nov. 23 (UPI) — The United States will distribute an extra $4.5 billion to Ukraine‘s authorities by the tip of the 12 months, based on the United States Agency For International Development.
USAID mentioned in an announcement that the cash “will help alleviate the acute budget deficit caused by Putin’s brutal war of aggression.”
U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink tweeted, “As Russia continues its brutal war with attacks across the country, the United States through USAID announced $4.5 billion more in support to help Ukraine keep schools, hospitals, emergency services and utilities working for the people of Ukraine.”
The cash is being supplied by way of the World Bank in two funds Ukraine will get earlier than the tip of 2022, based on USAID. The funding was made doable with bipartisan congressional assist.
