Emirati Industry and Advanced Technology Minister Sultan al-Jaber discussed in a virtual meeting with the Israeli minister of science and technology possible collaboration in research and development, and technology transfer, the United Arab Emirates’ state news agency WAM reported on Wednesday. WAM on Tuesday said Al Jaber, who also heads state-run Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), discussed possible cooperation with the Israeli ministers of Energy and Economy and Industry.

Israel and the UAE signed an agreement on Sept. 15 to establish diplomatic relations.
