Be it for work or leisure – it is one of the best ways to explore and grow as an individual. However, travelling can be exhausting at times. But what makes it truly beautiful are the numerous people that we encounter on this journey. While some might bother us, others leave a lasting impact with their acts of kindness. Recently, one such story of an Uber driver named Ravi, has gone viral on the internet. His heart-warming gesture for a customer who had not slept due on a flight has won the hearts of many.  

In a post shared by Linkedin user Harsh Sharma, he tells his followers how his Uber driver was kind enough to organise seats for him at a restaurant after knowing that he had not slept due to his travel on a flight. He wrote, “The person you see in this photo, he’s not my relative, friend or anyone whom I knew until this happened. This Uber driver named Ravi, unlike other cab drivers talking on earphones due to language barrier, saw that I haven’t slept due to my flight.”

He further mentioned, “He organised the seats so I could lay down. Then he asked me “Sir, breakfast?” I said no. He told me, “You sleep, I’ll stop at a good restaurant.”  After an hour, when the driver woke him up, they were outside a crowded restaurant. He then arranged a table, brought the menu and suggested some south-Indian specialities for Harsh to try. They ate together and later Ravi brought him coffee and said, “isse neend khulegi” (this will break your sleep). “He didn’t let me leave the table, I met him an hour ago and he still treated me like his son. Moreover, two people joined us on the table, that’s very rarely seen in Delhi. So, I was surprised.” Harsh added.  He also urged Uber India to do something for this superhero.
