National Sports University (NSU), Imphal, Manipur, a Central University under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, has invited applications for admission to Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses of study for 2020-21.

Under Graduate Programmes: (i) 4 Years (8 Semesters) Bachelor of Science in Sports Coaching (B.Sc. Sports Coaching) (ii) 3 Years (6 Semesters) Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports (B.P.E.S).

Applicant must have passed Higher Secondary (10+ 2 scheme of examination or any other equivalent examination). Applicant should be above 17 years of age as on 1.7. 2020. The upper age limit is 23 years.

Applicants should have Sports achievements.

Masters Programmes: (i) 2 Years (4 Semesters) Master of Science in Sports Coaching (M.Sc. Sports Coaching) (ii) 2 Years (4 Semesters) Master of Arts in Sports Psychology (M.A. Sports Psychology).

Eligibility for PG Programmes:

M.Sc. Sports Coaching (Athletics, Badminton & Football): B.Sc. Sports Coaching (4 years)/ Graduate with Diploma in Sports Coaching /B.P.E.S. with Diploma in Sports Coaching/B.P.Ed. of 4 years or 2 years duration/ any other equivalent qualification with 50% marks. Applicants should have Sports achievements.

M.A. Sports Psychology: Bachelor’s Degree in B.P.E.S./B.P.Ed./B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology or any Bachelor’s Degree with Psychology/ Sports Psychology as one of the subjects, with minimum 50% marks. Sports achievements is desirable.

Those who have appeared for their Graduation Exam and the results are awaited can apply for Masters Programme, provisionally.

Admission to these courses will be on the basis of a Written Entrance Test and Sport Achievements of the candidates. Written Test will be conducted through Internet based proctored online examination. There will be viva for PG Programmes.

Application fee is Rs. 500/- for each course and the same can be paid online. Those who are interested to apply for both the courses of each level should submit separate Application Forms.
