Delhi has quite a lot of all-time favourites on the subject of eating out. These are eating places that are all the time on our radar and amongst our high picks once we are considering of consuming some scrumptious meals. Amici Cafe in Defence Colony is one such well-known eatery that’s fairly standard among the many locals. Recently, the cafe has launched a brand new menu that has added a number of scrumptious dishes to its signature choices.

A quaint cafe positioned within the plush Defence Colony market, Amici has been on foodies’ radar ever because it opened. With yellow partitions adorned with black frames and open ceilings, the interiors are fairly spacious and welcoming. Amici Cafe might have restricted seating, however relaxation assured the standard of the service is great.

We began off our meal with Lebanese Chicken, a 5-spice grilled dish served with aioli, hummus, do-it-yourself pickles, pita bread and grilled tomatoes. It was fairly spicy and completely different from our normal rooster starters. Meanwhile, the Alla Vodka pasta made with vodka and roma tomatoes was fairly pleasant and had a tangy style. Drizzled with parmesan cheese, it was served with buttered garlic bread on the aspect.

In the pizza part, we have been spoilt for selection! The wood-fired, artisanal pizzas with Neapolitan crusts are one of many signature dishes of Amici Cafe and we needed to strive one for positive. After a lot deliberation, we picked the Caprese pizza made with Italian tomatoes, bocconcini, pesto sauce and mozzarella cheese. The beneficiant toppings and doughy crust left us fulfilled and pleased. Lastly, the Cremino within the dessert part was fairly a deal with however may use a bit extra cream in it!
