A vacant home was destroyed in a fire reported early Sunday in the city of Jamestown.
City fire crews were summoned to 426 Allen St. at about 4:25 a.m. Officials arrived on scene and reported a structure fully engulfed by flames.
Firefighters were on scene for several hours. Falconer firefighters assisted Sunday.
The structure, which was condemned, appears to have sustained most of its damage in the rear.
Fire investigators were called to the scene. The cause was not immediately known.
