On Thursday, Oct. 14, Vandal Entertainment (VE) is holding a midterms week rage room at the ISUB Plaza. VE will be providing plates and various other dishware for students to smash from 11:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. This event is provided for students to have a fun, creative outlet for relieving stress during the week as they complete classwork, exams and projects for their academic courses. 

Following the plate smashing, students will be able to paint the dishware with whatever they would like. Afterwards, starting at 3:00 p.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m., the UI Sustainability Center will be welcoming students to come and build a mosaic with the broken pieces in the ASUI Vandal Lounge.  

“Come to decorate your plate or dishware with all of your life stressors,” says the event description, “and then SMASH it…”  

The event gives an opportunity for students to visualize their stressors by writing them down, followed by relieving themselves of the stressors by destroying the plates and making something visually pleasing out of the remains.
