Vietnam Airlines stated on Friday it has restarted its first common business flight to China after almost three years of suspension as a result of coronavirus pandemic.
“As China has eased its COVID-19 restrictions, Vietnam Airlines has reopened some of its routes between the two countries to meet travel demand,” it stated in a press release.

The resumption of the primary common flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Guangzhou, will likely be adopted by companies between Shanghai and Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi from subsequent week, it stated.
Vietnam’s flag provider stated it now was working 600 worldwide flights per week, or 70% of its pre-pandemic capability.
