Some prefer to binge on Rajma Chawal while others like French Fries. There are people who think Pizza is comfort food whereas others would rather have a chocolate brownie. People from different areas of the world have varied choices when it comes to comfort food. However, one fusion comfort food has impressed foodies from everywhere collectively. A chef created a fusion dish combining the Indian favourite Butter Chicken with the American staple Mac and Cheese, and the results indeed look quite delicious. Take a look:

The pictures were shared on Twitter by chef Hamzah S, who is based in Texas. “Indian comfort food meets American comfort food. Butter Chicken Mac and Cheese,” he wrote on Twitter. The pictures of the drool-worthy dish instantly went viral and raked in nearly 98k likes and 6k retweets.

On Instagram, the chef described the process of making the Butter Chicken Mac and Cheese. “Started off with your typical butter chicken base, and then added 3 kinds of cheese and my favorite noodles. Topped it with some cilantro and torched raclette to make sure it was extra cheesy. Might be taking orders for this one soon y’all,” he concluded.

Twitter users were left mesmerised by the idea of combining Butter Chicken with Mac and Cheese. This unique fusion dish truly seemed to be the best of both worlds for desi foodies online, who instantly started craving it and wanted to try it as soon as possible. “I don’t think there’s a single thing I want more on this planet right now,” wrote one user while another said, “How is it 2022 and we haven’t been up on this for centuries?”
