There is a rising pattern of unconventional meals experiments and combos. Some end up tasty, others are, nicely, not so nice. Certain combos like peanut butter and jelly are well-loved classics, whereas others like gulab jamun momos or Fanta maggi, could not all the time hit the mark. Pizza, too, hasn’t been spared from these experiments. From sushi-inspired toppings to dessert variations, pizza is commonly featured in weird combos. In a current viral video, with over 3 million views, a vlogger is seen making “Pizza Dhokla”, merging an Italian traditional with the Gujarati delicacy. The fusion recipe has sparked a variety of reactions on-line.

The digital creator mixed rava, curd, salt, chopped onions, boiled candy corn, chopped capsicum, spinach leaves, oregano, chilli flakes, olives, and a packet of Eno in a bowl and totally combined them. She then transferred the combination right into a glass container, layered it along with her home made pizza sauce, and added grated cheese, olives, and herbs on prime. Placing the container inside a cooker, she steamed it for quarter-hour. Watch the whole video right here:

The web stands divided over this viral recipe. While some appreciated the dish many claimed that the experiment has “destroyed two proper dishes.”

One consumer exclaimed, “OMG,  I love how you recreated it”, and one other chimed in with a triple “Wow.” 

There had been feedback like, “Great recipe! Gonna try it soon.”  

Meanwhile, others who weren’t so proud of the creation, mentioned, “Why, mam. Let pizza be the pizza and dhokla be the dhokla.” 

A number of had points with the title. “Call it something else LMAO. The name and dish both are very misleading.” 

Not proud of the outcome, this particular person wrote, “Add it to the rarest of the rare crime category.” 

“No, please don’t disrespect dhokla like this. It’s a traditional Gujju dish,” echoed just a few.
